Has anybody done this? I signed up for one this Saturday. We’re not staying onsite and don’t have park tickets and that happens to be our hotel switch day so we thought it would kill some time.

Any info? I assume it’s a tour and a push for sales. The rep implied some kind of gift, but didn't state specifics.

it’s a member walkthrough, as a group, not an individual tour.

It was a pin! And a rice crispy treat. The kids were happy. The rooms look nice. The tower studios are tiny. And there aren’t many. But for a quick trip as a couple it would work.
the quick service food was a little slow, but really good. The public areas were fairly mobbed. Just people everywhere. I assume some combination of newness and holiday crowds.

How long did the tour/walk through take?

It was pretty quick. There was a short video/spiel, followed by time to poke around the 3 bedroom unit. After the video we were given rice crispy treats and Riviera pins. Then if you wanted to see a two bedroom and the tower studios you could check in and they showed us those. All in all, about an hour.

Took our tour on Saturday we already own VGF & Poly we were looking to add more points. We spoke with our sales guide Eric (he sold us both VGD (2015) and Poly (2016) he had a 4pm appointment.

1st impressions WOW an absolutely stunning resort they still had the Christmas decorations up so that added to the resort as well. We toured a 2 Bedroom lock off the rooms are awesome looking we really love the layout of the room. Our sales guide said they cut the balconies in half and extended the rooms so they are larger and we love it.

The points are currently priced at $188 per point discounts kick in at 125 points, and points increase to $195 on 1/29/20.

In the end we opted for 200 new points we added them as a new contract so we can take advantage of having another membership for Moonlight Magic and other events.

Below are some photos of the resort and tour.

Thanks for those!

Actually that’s the first time I’ve seen confirmation that there is a hot tub at the quiet pool! In fact I’m sure someone was bemoaning the fact that there weren’t hot tubs.

I really hope to stay here one day. Won’t be the next trip over Christmas this year, too points expensive. But when we return after that hopefully it’ll be at a quieter time and less “expensive” points-wise.
