I have never used the buses to go to Downtown Disney! The boat ride is so much nicer and was never full when we were there.POR and FQ have seperate buses for MK. The hotels share for everywhere else, and FQ is first and then routes as i described above. The exception being DD/Tyohoon, which starts POR east and finishes at FQ before heading to DD
The boat does not operate during inclement weather. We have taken the boat to DTD and were forced to ride the bus back after a storm rolled in.I have never used the buses to go to Downtown Disney! The boat ride is so much nicer and was never full when we were there.

Can you expound on this? The list of parks followed by the Riverside stops...are the parks the destinations or the origin of the route?MK and DD - west, north, east, south
Epcot, MGM, AK - south, west, north, east.

Thanks. I'm sure we'll get the hang of it quickly. Not only will this be our first time at POR, but it's been 20+ years since visiting WDW.The parks are the destinations, not originating point.
The next route of a bus is allocated when it gets to the park, so it is possible you can get a bus back from MGM, which, when it gets to POR will be going to Epcot instead of back to MGM.
