Actually the water from Bay Lake does not flow into River Country. River Country's water flows into the lake from a spillway (RC is elevated a few feet above lake level). It is located under the bridge in the third picture. It is a good illusion that you are swimming in Bay Lake :) So whatever is wrong with Bay Lake's water does not affect River Country.

But it is the same water...Disney says that it flows from Bay Lake.

Yeah, thats what I'm saying about the 3rd picture. Its an illusion. If you walk on that bridge or take a rented boat up to it, you will see that River Country is elevated. The water flows over the spill way into bay lake but not the other way around. The water in River Country is treated.
