River Country Being Used!?!

I have heard reports from a reliable source that River Country is currently being used for only special events and conventions. :veryconfu

Also I am looking for any pictures of River Country people may have. I am working on a River Country Website where all of the information can be compiled and put away. I may or may not use your picture, it depends on if I already have one similar to yours or not.

I am especially looking for pictures of Pop's Place and the souvenior shop at the park. I have been unable to locate any pics of these two places as of yet. Any help would be appreciated!

I have not heard these reports, but Disney usually opens up areas (LIKE WoL) for convention space when it's not open to guests.

I can't imagine how it would be used. From my memory, (which consists of a trip or two when was 5-7) and what I have gathered, the place is wicked small, which is one of the reasons why it is closed. Call me crazy, but I can't see how it could be used in that fashion...

That wasn't poison, those were appetizers from the recent National Squirrel Gynecologists convention. Sadly Acorn Quiches were contaminated with Ecoli, Which made many Squirrels very sick.

Back in June we went to "Mickey's Backyard B-B-Q" at Fort Widerness. They use the River Countrys locker/changing rooms as the restrooms for the BQ. The rest of River Country is walled off.
