RIP Tim Considine

Another of my Disney heroes has passed away. He was Spin on “Spin and Marty,” as well as main characters in “The gy Dog,” “The Hardy Boys,” and of course, “My Three Sons.” In interviews, he seemed to have his head on straight and had a good grip on the fleeting nature of fame.

I wish some of these folks (Tim, Tommy Kirk, Kevin Corcoran, Don Grady, Annette Funicello, Fred MacMurray, and others) could know how much they meant to us.

He got his start acting for Disney, on both The Mickey Mouse Club and in The gy Dog.

Yep. MeTV still has him every morning at 6:30 a.m. in “My Three Sons,” which really had a lot of Disney feel to it. I know that he and David Stollery (Marty) were lifelong friends in real life, even before the series. I am sure that he is hurting right now. Prayers for him and Tim’s family.
