Rip Ride Rockit Closing September 2025 - Replacement To Be Announced

I’m pretty sure they were ordering parts for the ROA too, and muppetvision [:(] got new seats and effects upgrades just over a year before it got a closure announcement.
The removal of MuppetVision wont be as drastic as its going to be very minimal impact, as they are going to replace it with a show anyway, at least what the concept art is indicating. So nothing will in essence be going to waste, that is such as the projectors and seating. They will be easily reintegrated into the new show.

Of that and the last sentence in mind. I’m just interested to see how they make everything work out theming wise, with New York on the other side of the area, if it is truly replacing MIB. If this happens, I trust universal creative though.
I have my concerns on both sides but that's more akin to Halloween Horror Nights, and they are already seeing the effects of it too. They are castrating the event, and hopefully they realized that they are actually making the event more condensed. They have realized that they can't even have House queues in Minions Land nor Dreamworks Kids Zone. But that being said, RRR's removal and replacement will lose in the map below access to houses A through E. The building in the parking lot will immediately take out the queue access for D and E. Once Simpsons and that area get work done, they are likely to loose houses G-J. If they put Pokémon in the Simpsons lot, they loose houses I and J's queues. So it's gonna be interesting.

Also, Martin said that the two buildings are for matinence and Load for the coaster respectively.
That's a choice for management, considering they have the facilities in place already for a load, but we will see. Creative and Management are known to make questionable decisions at times.

You’ve been very cool for sharing some of this with me here, so i appreciate it, and apologize for all the questions.
My pleasure. :)

I know, I’m just going to miss my salute to all nations, but mostly America.

I did never think about that. Maybe they have second thoughts? Idk, not really an HHN guy. But those are valid concerns. I’m sure they’ll find a way to make it work. Honestly, if this is what it takes for ghostbusters, than I’ll take it lol. Another question for HHN is if supercharged goes away, what happens to that queue space. This is all if Simpsons closes for Pokémon.

What even could go in supercharged ip wise anyway?

I think the idea is to take it out of the minion land area.

Lord knows, if they keep the ride system that's one thing, but if they don't its open game. BUT if its solely for HHN, They could bypass part of the show building, but it would also affect only one house.

Word on the metaphorical street and this has been one for a year plus, RRRs replacement is likely to be Fast themed, given the coaster out in Hollywood. When I first learned of it, the idea was to replace RRR with a Fast theme and then redo Fast.

If they were to take out Minion land, they would have never built Villaincon and the additions.

I think in the future the HHN situation will be addressed by building flex spaces into upcoming rides and lands. Think of what we thought for VCMB albeit on a larger scale with an actual ride attached to it.

I have heard and it seems pretty likely for the coaster. I just meant what ip other than FNF could fit in San Fran on that plot, because I am honestly not sure. Just many variable in the entire thing. If what you have heard is still true, with those four rides being replaced and everything. I’m sure things could change, but let’s hope they stick with that plan, because I still am coping that there is a chance a classic ip could come to USF again after everything that’s happened with them this summer with the store and parade and show and how well it apparently went. Probably not, deep down in my heart lol.

Not take out Minion Land, take HRRR out of Minion Land. Unless the new coaster is actually themed to the one from Despicable Me?
Rockit isn't in Minion Land. It's officially in New York now, formerly Production Central. But the concert area is really just... the concert area, if we're being honest.

Whilst it's labeled as New York, you can tell that it was part of the former Production Central area. If they move the entrance of the new coaster furth back into New York, there is a bigger distinguisment between the lands.

Rock it and the Stage are considered by TMs as Music Plaza (since the stage is called the Universal Music Plaza Stage). Production Central is now front gates.

I do think the right move is the apparently planned RRR replacement with fast. def part of a long term plan for USF, so supercharged can be gone. Has there been talk of what supercharged’s replacement could be? Like, everyone wants it gone as fans, but nobody has any real ideas on what to put there. San Fran is kinda weird to work work with with the ips they have access too. Idk.

New York is what’s it is listed as. Honestly wonder about the future of the music plaza once RRR goes, if it’s turned into something else. Kidna its own thing and I don’t think it meshes well with the direction the park appears to be going in.

Unless the park is going in a direction that doesn't include special events with concerts, which would be news to me, it isn't going anywhere. It isn't the best day-to-day use of space, but it is nonetheless necessary for said events.
