RIP Alice Davis

Disney Imagineering Legend Alice Davis passed away today at 93 years old. Her attention to detail was top notch and had a great sense of fashion and worked on the attire for attractions such as it’s a small world and Pirates of the Caribbean, among many others. She loved to preach Walt’s passion for not skimping out on the product and was part of a true Disney power couple comprised of her and Marc Davis. She will be missed, Rest In Peace

She really was a genius of design and good taste for every Disney theme park attraction she worked on. I'm glad she lived such a long and successful life.

Can you imagine the cool stuff she and Marc are now planning for heaven?

I'd bet 10 churros that when she was posing for this staged publicity shot in 1963 as she worked on the Small World costumes she said to the photographer... "Hang on a moment, let me put this different lipstick on that perfectly complements this doll's costume."
