Hello Future Imagineers!

I'm working on a quick I-was-bored-today project about expansions at Walt Disney World and I was wondering:

What small-scale projects would you like to see get underway right now today across the Walt Disney World Resort?

Here are some of the things I had in mind.

Magic Kingdom
New Day Parade
Jungle Cruise Refurb to add Piranhas
Splash Mountain Refurb (Including updated Animatronics)
Main Street Arcades to Bypass traffic
Peter Pan Walkthrough to replace Adventureland Veranda and Tinkerbells Nook (Would include Peter Pan Character Meet and Greets)
Celebrate the Magic Style Projections added to Wishes
Indoor Live Show (Mickey and the Magic Map Possibly?) (Possibly Replacing Pete’s Silly Sideshow)
New Night Parade
Space Mountain Re-Build
Tomorrowland Rockettower Plaza area Exterior Refurb

EPCOT
Imagination Rebuild
Updated Animatronics for Ellen
New Entrance Plaza Garden
New Horizans to Replace Wonders of Life (Including a new House of the Future)
New Special Event Pavilion to replace the Odyssey
Soarin’ over the World

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Indoor Wishes Show to replace Voyage (From the Disney Cruise Line, Perhaps renamed "Ride of our Lives" or something similar) (Possibly including a full Animation Refurb)

Fantasmic Update including New Dragon
Industrial Light and Magic Expansion (You guys know I don't want a Star Wars land, so this would be my answer to that, feel free to throw out Star Wars Related Ideas)
GMR Refurb
Indoor Newsies Show to replace Theater of the Stars
Muppet Courtyard Expansion
Pixar Place Expansion (Kuka Incredibles Ride/Ratatouille: Kitchen Kalamity/Monster’s Inc Ride and Go Seek Or something similar, probably not door coaster, but we'll see)
New Street Party style Day Parade (Perhaps inspired by Celebrate: a Street Party)

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Full Expedition Everest Rerfurb including a New Yeti
Camp Minnie-Mickey Expansion (Which I have detailed, but I'm open to other ideas like Beastly Kingdom, Avatar, and Austrailia)
Dinorama Redo
Wonders of Nature (A show planned for the park originally, perhaps inspired/sponsored by Disneynature)
South America Expansion

Other (Downtown Disney, Water Parks, Resorts, Recreation, Etc)
Disney Springs Expansion
New On-Site Hotel for DTD to go with the Disney Springs Rebuild
New Water Park Attractions


The Goal here it to get a really comprehensive list going, so throw out any and all ideas you have! Eventually I would like to pare it down to the really important ones and work on a fixing up Walt Disney World Thread. No idea is too big or too small, that being said, I would like to focus on fixing things up rather then huge expansions, but if you think a huge expansion would work throw that our too! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Replace Tom Sawyer Island.

DHS:
Monsters Inc Land of course, but that is not small scale, so maybe add another Star Wars attraction, turn Backlot Express into Mos Eisley Cantina. Move Pizza Planet over to Pixar Place and turn the building it is in now into the Swedish Chef.

EPCOT:
Simply put, Soarin’ over (ANYTHING). That ride is okay, but it gets mind numbing after a while.

AK:
Simple again..... Disco is dead. FIX THE YETI!!

Wouldn't Tink and her friends need a new meet and greet area? DHS could have a ride or area based off Wreck-It Ralph. Replace the Florida Fantasmic Dragon with the murphy dragon.

The Tinkerbell Franchise is now over. Tinkerbell would be a part of the Planned Peter Pan Walkthrough, but her fairy friends would be retired from regular sets.

I'm considering a Sugur Rush themed ride, but it depends on how Pixar Place Expansion plays out.

I have a new Nighttime Parade on there, and an update for Wishes, do you have something else in mind?

What about when its the holidays? The new nighttime show with projected animation on the castle like Celebrate the Magic but with fireworks.

I plan to keep both Celebrate the Magic and Wishes for now. I don't want a dreams clone because I think people expect a Tradtional Fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. My adding projections to the show would just be a way to spice it up and be a good reason for a repeat viewing for those who have seen it before.

And I'm not sure I understand what about the Holidays?

Um Tip-Top there making one more Tinkerbell film.

Oh Look at that, that must have just recently been announced, I'd never heard of that before. Either way, I think a Peter Pan walk through including Tinkerbell would be a better use of the space.

Also: I have no intention to include Periwinkle. She was a great addition for the Holidays this year with the Release of Secret of the Wings, but now that that's passed....

Haha, it's not all small scale, but that's what I'm trying to focus on. Refurbs and improvements. Obvious things that we probably all think about while we are in the parks!

How about a Wreck-It Ralph ride that takes place right after the film with a concept of King Candy returning and planning to take over the human world with his cybugs?

I would tend to shy away from Sequel type stories. They tend to be a little Hack-y. Plus I think that's a little out of character for King Candy. I think Turbo liked being a Video game character, that's why he game jumped. No?

No @Tip Top Club is right, he jumped because he liked being a character and his game wasn't getting any attention anymore. By jumping he caused his game to go Out of Order and everyone in the game was lost.

And I agree about the sequel thing, expanding the universe like Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters and Toy Story Mania is a better path to take. Especially since we can pretty much confirm Wreck It Ralph 2 is on the way.

I would add fix the dinosaur ride to original opening day standards!!!!!! such a shame.
