Rides to Bid On

If, much like the recent Ebay auction of the original JIYI Dreamfinder blimp, your favorite ride was being removed or redone.....what part or piece in particular would you bid on to purchase as a momento? I might go after one of the cars on Space Mountain, one of the street signs from Rock n' Roller Coaster, or one of the bellhop uniforms from Tower of Terror, or even the animatronic Captain Hook where he's fighting Pan up on the top of his ship while the Lost Boys and Wendy are tied to the mast.

I want a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea submarine. I've wanted a Nautilous ever since I was little. That was one of my favorite movies, so if I could get my hands on one of those, I'd be certainly happy.

How about a Doom Buggy? Those clamshell cars would also make an ideal purchase.

I would have bid on the Mr. Toad car they auctioned off, except that I had just A. Bought a house, and B. Lost my job. Oh well... I'll be prepared to bid again sooner or later.

Grim, I would definitely have to agree with you on the Mr. Toad's Wild Ride items. The set backdrops were so vivid and colorful, although I can't imagine redecorating my family room around them.

Well, its not really a ride, but i've always wanted one of those little speed boats you rent from the resorts!

I'd also like the lifesize Imperial Walker in front of Star Tours, the carriage in front of the Haunted Mansion, and while we're at it, the cuties at the Norwegian Pavilion.
