My question is about using the baby swap in conjunction with a DAS. Our party is 3 adults, a 40" 4 year old with Autism who will likely require a DAS (we'll evaluate when we get there, maybe we'll get lucky and we won't need it) and an almost 2 year old.
We have FP+ reservations for SDMT, our party of 5 enters the FP+ line, an adult exits with the toddler, and then two or three of us get to ride again as an other adult waits with the toddler, correct?
More confusing, the three adults would really like to ride Soarin', which my 4 year old isn't tall enough to ride. We don't have FP+ reservations for it. Can we scan her DAS and get a return time, return with all 5 of us through the fast pass line, leave one adult with the two kids, and then switch and have a different adult wait with the kids? It feels wrong to use her DAS when she can't ride, but if she had no issue with lines, we'd wait through the line and just use rider swap as normal. My back up plan is to stick my husband at Sunshine Seasons with the kids for dessert and do Soarin with my mom and hope for a short wait.
Edit: PreCoffee and I put this in the wrong forum. Feel free to move to trip planning, sorry!
