Ride Photo question

I have a friend going to WDW in April, I think it's only her second trip and the last one was ten years ago. They are not staying on-site, and she does not plan to get Magic Bands. She has heard though that the ONLY way to get ride photos is if you have an MB and purchase Memory Maker. That doesn't seem logical to me (Disney surely wants to sell ride photos) but I've only been twice since the MBs were introduced, and never paid attention to what options there are for people who don't have them.

Can anyone clarify for me so I can pass it on to her? Will she be able to purchase ride photos if she does not have a Magic Band?

Short answer - Yes, she can touch her RFID ticket to the reader under the picture kiosk. Then going to the online Photopass site be able to pull up the photo using her account/linked to her ticket and pay to download (or have printed and mailed).

HOWEVER, this will not work for the Seven Dwarf Mine Train, which uses the Magic Band.
