I have no problem with low preference seating in return for single rider line, but having done mostly solo trips lately, it is a little aggravating to know with certainty that no matter whether you are fastpass or regular line, the chances you will have anything other than the end seat with the least preferable viewing angle on Soarin' and FoP are virtually non existent (although, admittedly not as big of a deal if you are lucky enough to be slotted into the middle section). Just a minor gripe to me, nothing I would hassle a cast member with or anything.
See that’s understandable. There’s always exceptions to everything I don’t tend to think of. Now, you could wait in the standby line, but there’s no guarantee they still won’t stick you in a corner just because there’s one of you. I occasionally go solo when my wife is doing the marathons and going to bed at 8 pm, but yeah, even with FP, solo rollers get the shaft a bit. I get you loud and clear.
There are WDW groups on that Meetup app where people often post they’re hitting a park solo, and perhaps looking to...meet up! With others, I’m on a couple and the people I’ve met from them have been quite nice
