Richard Petty's Team practice at the track??

Anyone get pics of the race cars last week? I was trying to play golf at The Palm and couldnt putt for the life of me cause these cars were so loud!! (not that I can putt anyway) I have never heard the cars so loud before and finally the Golf Starter explained they had been running all morning and afternoon. Cars were lined up along the fence with people trying to take pictures. I never got a good look though.
I could still hear them from Epcot the next day

I have no pictures but that sounds pretty cool. I'm glad Walt Disney World Speedway still gets the attention of Nascar teams because I always thought the track layout was unique.

Yeah I wish they did more there. They used to have Grandstands and Indy Car/ Formula Car races there years ago. I think its a little small to have the BIG boys run there but it would be nice to see. I wonder if it is kept up to regulations.

It'd be neat to see the Trucks make a return too. As for regulations, nope. I did the IndyCar Experience back in October and I don't remember seeing Safer Barrier Walls. I'm sure it would need other updates as well.

Funny you say trucks cause I thought I saw a couple of those running around the track last week too.
