I now have here is my revised list of rides and attractions for Disney Studios as of opening day. Earlier, I had a couple of rides, Hook's Revenge and Lilo & Stitch's Hawaiian Roller Coaster; but I took those of since they, especially Hook's Revenge, seemed too carnival-like to fit into a studios park. I may place these two rides in my third park if/when it's ever built. Currently, I'm leaning toward something similar to Universal's Islands of Adventure for this park; where a group of loosely-knit themes set on small islands are tied together.

Once again, Disney Studios will have as of opening day; six soundstages, a backlot (complete with Residential Street, similar to WDW's now-defunct RS), an animation studio, as well as the Earfell Tower; which will be an actual working water tower for the studio and park unlike Disney-MGM's oversized prop! Here are the rides and attractions I now have for Disney Studios:

1.) Cinemagic Special Effects Stage: This is a live stage show focusing on special effects for TV and motion pictures; which also includes audience-participation in a few segments!

2.) Disney Sound Studio: where guests add sound effects to various Disney cartoons! (this is an almost completely hands-on attraction, unlike the Sounds Dangerous show with Drew Carey which currently runs at Disney-MGM)

3.) The Great Movie Ride: Once again, GMR will have primarily different scenes from its WDW/Disney-MGM counterpart. Since I have never been to WDW, and therefore, never rode GMR, I'll have to go by what I have seen listed in Birnbaum's Official Guide. So far, the only movie scene I know of which would remain the same is the Wizard of Oz scene, since that was a landmark motion picture an a favorite of children; whom WDW's theme parks are primarily geared to. Not sure about the others, however, I will also include Mary Poppins on my GMR, but using a different scene. WDW's GMR includes the Chim Chim Cher-ee scene, whereas mine will use the Supercalafragilisticexpialidocious song and dance scene from Mary Poppins!

4.) The Great Muppet Movie Ride: This is basically a spoof of the Great Movie Ride; where the Muppets give guests their takes on various classic films; such as Frankenstein, The Wizard of Oz, and Peter Pan, just to name a few; along with an original entitled Pigs In Space: The Movie. Also, about halfway through the ride, we'll re-create the hilarious scene from The Muppet Movie where the film jams and breaks halfway through the movie. In this scene, Kermit asks what happened, and The Swedish Chef (who is the projectionist) responds, with film wrapped all over him! Here is a sound byte of this scene:

5.) Hyperion Theater: This is a large theater designed much like a movie palace-type theater from the Golden Era of Hollywood. Hyperion Theater presents a multi-character show (using characters from various Disney cartoons) similar (but not exactly!) to the show currently running on the Disney Cruise Line.

6.) Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular: I know Disney-MGM has this, but I decided to throw Indy in since I think that this is one of their very best shows!

7.) Jim Henson's Muppet*Vision 4-D

8.) The Magic of Disney Animation:
which features 3 different types of animation!:

a.) Cel Animation: Due to Disney's infamous decision to curtail traditional cartoon cel animation, this will be used primarily for demonstration purposes, made-for-TV cartoons for ABC and The Disney Channel, as well as an occasional cartoon short to go with some of Disney's feature films!

b.) 3-D Computer Animation: This will be the studio's main product and largest department, for reasons described above.

c.) Clay Animation: This will be used almost entirely for demonstration purposes; since Disney has used (or plans to use) very little of this product. So far, all I have seen are Disney Channel promos and those segments that The Disney Channel runs between shows early in the mornings.

In addition, The Magic of Disney Animation features an interactive area where guest can learn a few tricks of the trade!

9.) Monsters Inc. dark ride

10.) Star Tours

11.) Studio Tour: Behind the Scenes

12.) That's Entertainment! Hollywood Gallery:
Similar to The Disney Gallery in this theme park resort's Magic Kingdom and the Main Street Gallery and Town Square Exposition Hall in WDW's MK; but focuses on Hollywood and the entertainment industry in general. That's Entertainment! includes various Hollywood-related exhibits, artifacts, and memorabilia.

13.) Tron: The Ride: This ride is modeled after an earlier proposal on this forum, based on the 1982 motion picture Tron. IIRC, this ride was designed as a dark ride with interactive elements much like Buzz Lighyear's Space Ranger Spin has. (correct me if I'm wrong!) Even though I was not the first to propose this ride, so far this has never been built, which actually makes Tron a completely original attraction!

14.) Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

15.) Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Play It!

PARADE: a Hollywood-themed parade similar to the Lights, Camera, Action! parade at Walt Disney Studios in Paris. Like the WDS parade, this parade uses actual parade floats instead of the antique cars used in Disney-MGM's parade. One of the floats in this parade will be the movie projector float with Tinker Bell sitting in front of the projector's lens!

In addition, the parade at Disney Studios will include Hollywood-themed songs/show tunes such as Hooray For Hollywood, There's No Business Like Show Business, We're In the Money, You Ought to Be in Pictures, and That's Entertainment!, just to name a few!

Last but certainly not least, Disney Studios runs the Sorcery In the Sky fireworks show each night.

I also have here a potential list of lands/streets for Disney Studios:

1.) Animation Courtyard:
2.) The Backlot
3.) Hollywood Boulevard
4.) Muppets Courtyard (which includes The Great Muppet Movie Ride and Muppet*Vision 4-D)
5.) New York Street
6.) Production Courtyard
7.) Sunset Boulevard

If anyone has questions, comments, and/or suggestions, please fell free to post! :)
