Reuben Sandwich?

Anybody know where I can get a good reuben sandwich and a good glass of beer at WDW?

Sci-Fi diner at MGM has Reubens. If I recall they are pretty good, and they come on Texas toast. As for the beer, you can get beer anywhere, but try drinking a couple around World Showcase.

The Best reuben sandwich I ever ate was at the SCI-FI Diner at MGM Studios. I ate one in October and it was fantastic! I am going back down May 15th for my trip and I am going to get it again. I hope this helps.

Sci Fi Diner At MGm, Like above, was just, Plain good. It was One of the best ive ever tasted. As for Beer, Try Germany in the World Showcase.

Great Reuben at The Plaza right off Main Street at the Magic Kingdom! No beer there , stick to MGM.:slurp:

For GREAT sandwiches, be sure to try the EARL of SANDWICH place at Downtown Disney.

As of right now, there's no corned beef to be found, but the other stuff they have is DELICIOUS!

Ohh yeah, they have great Tuna melts. Try there.

I think Libery Tree tavern has a good ruben, hubby often gets it. Everything there is good (lunch) we think LTT is the unsung gem of MK. I don't know if you can get beer any where at MK though (hubby and I don't drink so I don't know.)

Earl of Sandwich is great, and is very affordable. (cheap actually, compared to everything else at WDW). Just waiting for them to catch on and jack up the prices. :zipit:

The Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD Westside has the best Reuben on Disney Property. I love me a good Reuben and that's where I go to get them

forget the reuben, for the beer check out the selection of Unibroue at Canada in Epcot. Last time I checked, most of the beer at the other pavilions was mediocre at best, the UK doesn't even have Newcastle!

There is no alcohol of any kind served at the Magic Kingdom. MGM, Epcot and AK all serve beer as do both water parks. Epcot also serves wine at their restaurants and other libations for those who choose to imbibe. Since we've always travelled with children, I've never been able to do the pub crawl through Epcot but am hoping that in a year or so, the kids will be old enough to hang out by themselves and I can experience the beers of world showcase.

As long as its a decent sized sandwich (and it comes with fries) it doesn't sound too bad for WDW. A lunch like that wouldn't be much cheaper here in my little section of NY.

$11.99 for a Reuben??? That's without tax and a drink!!!
It would be VERY hard for me to justify a $16 sandwich for lunch!!!

You can get a whole buffet for less - including dessert! :lol:

It REALLY makes Earl of Sandwich a bargain by comparison! Their sandwiches are all in the $5 range, plus tax and drink. Guess we need to write to the Earl and have him start stocking corned beef!

hey brer stich, if you want a good ruben in buffalo go to the fireside inn, in lancaster, its rubens are Fucillo HUGE and its a good price. everything there is great too though. the wings are monsters there too.
