Returning to the land?

My family are DVC members at the Boardwalk and always return to "home" every other year.

My wife (fairly new to Disney 2 trips) surprised me by wanting to go to Disney one of the next two Octobers for our sons 1st or 2nd birthday. I am leaning towards going to Disneyland because it would be different for a change and it has been 10 years since I have been there (soon after DCA opened). I know a lot has changed and this why I am leaning this way.

I would guess 4 full days would be enough but because I would have to almost take a full week off from work is it worth it to spend 5 or 6 full days there? I don't count travel days because I would not go to the parks, maybe pool.

Since you haven't been in ten years, but at the same time you've been before, I would say four days are enough. For first timers I recommend five days, but you're not a first timer.;)

I don't think 5 or 6 days would be overkill. How long do you spend on your WDW trips?

Typically 5-6 day full days. I have done 12-15 trips to WDW so I typically don't spend all day at the parks. Do enjoy some pool and relaxation time. Because we will have our son that will eliminate many things but will also give us the opportunity to enjoy other things with him

Thank you everyone
