Return to Disneyland - May 2015

Hey guys, happy holidays to all! Just wanted to share the news and gauge some opinions since my wife and I will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary in Disneyland! She's never been and this will only be my second visit having first experienced it back in 2012 during Carsland's opening. We are planning to stay May 15th - 25th at the Grand California. I had such a wonderful time at the resort during my last stay so I can't wait to unwind in its luxurious comfort once again.

Just curious for those more knowledgeable but, how are the crowds during this time of the year? I would imagine they wouldn't be too bad since we'll be there ahead of Memorial Day and school's are still in session but I figured it's worth asking you guys. In addition, while Disneyland's full slate for their 60th Anniversary festivities has yet to be announced, is it safe to assume that we'll be there when it's in full swing? We hope to soak up all we can during our visit especially with it being an anniversary year for both us and the park. Thanks in advance for any help/advice you guys can provide! We really appreciate it! :)

The weekends will be quite crowded, weekdays might not be as bad. The 60th is set to kick off on the 15th, so you nailed it with your timing!

I'll be there at that time as well! Weekdays in May usually aren't too bad, but I'm not sure if the 60th anniversary celebration will change that. Either way, it will be a great time!

That's so awesome! Thanks for everyones kind words, I can't wait for my wife to experience the original Disneyland. We were so excited to finally have it booked after months of discussing... Now, the official countdown begins!

I was there last year at that time. Mon-tues-weds were fine but the closer you got to the weekend the larger the crowds were. Just go with the flow. A ride time phone app helps. And take advantage of the early admission.
