Resume

Would anyone here be willing to show me a copy of the Resume they sent to Disney if you have applied in the past. I am looking for ideas on how to make it stand out, in what I am sure is a large stack of resumes. Of course you'll want to omit any personal info. Again just looking for some ideas to get me started. I was actually thinking of printing it on colored paper or possibly paper with a Disney picture background. Just some ideas.

Thanks all.. :)

I haven't applied to Disney, but I have read a lot of resume's. When I look at a pile, I go through a very simple sifting process. I want to see something well thought out, and a bit different, so I would agree you are doing the right thing putting some thought in. Try to keep it as short as possible, when you have 500 to read, you don't want to be looking at pages and pages of text. Also, try to keep it looking tidy and succint. Too much text, in dense paragraphs just don't appeal and usually end up on my floor.

I'm not sure about using Disney copyrighted images, but the coloured paper seems a nice idea. Nothing too wild though, just a subtle pastel to make it easy in the eye.

When going through the amount of resumes that I go through, I rarely look at anything beyond page 1. Color is a big no-no for me. And DEFINATELY don't include any images, and certainly not a Disney image. Numbers can speak louder than "fluff". Bullets are great because they're easy to read and quick for me to refer back to on my second-run through the stack. Paragraphs are a PAIN to try to read through.
