Restaurants suddenly not accepting DDP?

I've got a 5-night Disney World trip (with Disney Dining Plan) starting in a week, and I just noticed that the restaurants for two of the reservations I made nearly six months ago now say they do not accept the dining plan. Specifically: Nine Dragons and Tutto Italia at Epcot.

Is that for real, or is it an error on the website? If it's true, I feel like we're screwed... at this point, there's no way we're going to be able to get reservations just a week out.

Doesn’t this happen every year during the time non-Disney owned restaurants are negotiating with Disney over the dining plans?

I have no idea. I've only been to Disney World once before, and on that trip we only had the quick service dining plan. But if that's the case, that kind of screws over the people who make reservations based on acceptance of the DDP.

It happens every year and most locations end up on the plan.

Every year. Third party restaurants negotiate with Disney. Until they reach agreement, they aren’t listed.

Almost always end up listed, but there’s no guarantee. I wouldn’t cancel anything, if they’re not listed the day before, then it’s up to you if you want to try to find somewhere else. The front desk at a Disney Resort or Guest Relations can find you openings at DDP restaurants. Maybe not your first choice, but you’ll find something.

I would be absolutely stunned if either of those restaurants did not take the dining plan. Maybe the DS restaurants could get away with that, but not a restaurant in the parks.

There are “confirmed” reports of STK not accepting the dining plan on the 1st of January.

That’s the only one I’ve heard about. I’m sure if in-park restaurants weren’t accepting the DDP there would be people reporting it by now.

I’d be shocked if those two places didn’t reach an agreement.

I'm pretty sure all the TS restaurants in WDW parks accept DDP, though some are 2 credits like BoG, LeCellier, etc.

What is not included in DDP are lounges... like Baseline in HS and Nomad in AK.
