Looking for suggestions for restaurants outside the parks! We’re planning on not going into the park one day so I’m searching for a restaurant (for dinner) at a resort or Disney springs/ landing/ etc. this is my first trip. There are so many options I don’t know where to start! If it helps I’m a picky eater. Thanks in advance!

Try narrowing things down a little, answering the following questions would help people advise you better.

Are you wanting a character meal?

What kind of food do you like?

Kids? Ages and make up of party.

What are you planning to do the rest of the day?

Preferably no character meal
We like American style food or a steakhouse maybe? No seafood
No kids, 2 adults 21+
We don’t have set plans for the day, just relaxing probably

I would highly suggest....

1) Shula's, Dolphin - best steak on property. Get the Molten Lava Cake for dessert :). (TIW, no DDP)
2) Il Mullino, Swan - best Italian Food on property. (TIW, no DDP)
3) California Grill, Contemporary.
4) Citrico's or Narcoossee's, Grand Floridian.

All personal opinion - I'm not necessarily right, no one else is necessarily wrong.

Boathouse at Disney Springs is great. While they're primarily themed as a seafood restaurant, the company that owns it is a famous steakhouse in Chicago so there steaks are also exceptional. Plus it's nice to see the view from the restaurant.

I'd avoid STK - it can get very, very loud.

Yachtsman Steakhouse is great, as is the California Grill which has an excellent view of the fireworks.

I'll second Sanaa at Kidani, you can even go to the lounge and order dinner in there, and the bread service...

Many places in Disney Springs, you could stroll, eat, stroll, drink, and stroll again...

Geyser Point at WL - yeah its a bar, but we like going there for a burger, appetizers, oh and a beer. Great relaxing view of the lake,,

Just ideas based on our experiences

You could always try Perkins on the corner of Sand Lake Road and International Drive. Cheap and cheerful
