Resorts Of The Year Awards.!

Continuing with the award theme.Which value,moderate,& deluxe resorts would you honour with " Resorts of the year " awards..I can only judge in the moderate section here..Having stayed at three of them,my vote goes to PORS.It ticks all the right boxes for our family.Peaceful & beautiful surroundings,great food court with the added bonus of an above average ( IMOH ) table service restaurant " Boatwrights " awesome shop in " Fultons " and relaxing boat ride down the Sassagoula river to downtown.Your votes,if you please.And why ?

Tough to vote on resorts I haven't stayed at during the last year. But I'll go by my favorites.

Value - All Star Movies
Moderate - Port Orleans Riverside
Deluxe - Grand Floridian
Deluxe Villas - Wilderness Lodge

My dear wife votes Grand Floridian, my son and I vote Contemporary.

Port Orleans French Quarter..King Bed..Waterview..had a great time over Labor Day

Deluxe..Boarwalk..waterview room/balcony..equates to sgtmgd being a very very happy man!

POFQ of course!! Superb staff and just the right size for us. Love being attached to a larger resort for long walks and a change of pace! I really enjoy the familiar feel!!

I vote for AKL best resort we ever stayed at it is a lot the far but it is just amazing with the animals and the atmosphere.

Only stayed at values. I loved AOA for it's theming but, we would rather pay for a preferred room at POP to be closer to everything! So, I guess that it would be another tie!

Otherwise--- Shades of Green. Small resort with huge rooms, Starbuck coffee cart (lousy restaurants but we are almost never at our resort for any meals). Calm, quiet atmosphere with beautiful balcony views of the golf courses.

WOO HOO! Me too! I can't judge ANY other moderate, except this one. Don't even care to try, though my sister insists on Coronado Springs as her very favorite moderate.

I second that vote for PORS!! We visit other resorts but have stayed at this one the most! We love the Southern feel and the quietness. You can have long relaxing walks. The food court is great! We like that it is so spread out. We love it!

I am voting the Poly. The grounds are beautiful! The convenience of the monorail is incredible, and even the boat! 'Ohana is a great place to eat, as well as Kona Cafe! Dole Whips of course! Fireworks at night on the beach!We enjoyed the SOA show!
