Resort Specific Coffee Mugs Question

I've noticed online that there is now resort specific merchandise which includes mugs. Does anyone know if they are dishwasher safe? Some mugs I've got from the parks are dishwasher safe, but some others aren't. Just wondered if anyone on here happened to have noticed if they are or not.

If the mugs are like 90% of the mugs they sell, yes they are. I have found very few that are not. They usually have metallic overlays or something like that.

They all used to be dishwasher safe, but with the chips in them for "timed refills" I dunno if they still are. It seems like it would be bad for the chips.

Ive had a couple mugs lose some art work because of the the heat in the diswasher, specifically a Mad hatter mug.

Thanks for the advice. I know I have a couple mugs from previous vacations (from POTC gift shop) and they wear fine as does a Star Wars mug from Hollywood Studios. But a mug I got at downtown Disney and a mug from the Food and Wine Festival shop all say not to put in dishwasher. Probably has to do with some overlay as you said.

I think the OP meant coffee mugs that they sell in the resort gifts shops, not the refillable mugs for the resort food court. But resort-specific mugs and merch is certainly not new.
