Resort Hotel Treats.!

Good Morning All..After my food confessions thread this morning,it got me thinking..Now in 2006 we stayed at POFQ and never knew about their famous " Beignets "....And it wasn't until our third stay last year at PORS that I discovered The Magic Cookie Bar ..So what Resort food snack or treat,or even signature drink ( thinking of @DisneyDebNJ love of the Poly LaPu LaPu ) that you would tell them not to miss at al costs..?..Now I put this thread under Resorts rather than Dining as I want to find out the secrets of the Resorts treats..Quick Question..Is there a way of trying a Zebra Dome at AKL without getting a full meal..And is this only available at AKL?

You can pick up Zebra Domes from The Mara as a snack item.

The Polynesian has many resort specific items, Tonga Toast, Press pots of Kona coffee and macadamia pineapple pancakes. Which why it's a must for breakfast every trip. I believe you can also get a dole whip at Captain Cook's in the Polynesian, but for some reason they taste better in the Magic Kingdom, must be the pixie dust they sprinkle on them.

I have to agree with @real mad hatter about the beignets!! (and yes .... my lapu lapu!! LOL) We also love the pork nachos at Captain Cooks (we do eat them as a snack, so does that count?!?!?)

At POR it is the beignets, other than that we really don't have anything specific. If I ever stay at the poly again or visit captain cooks for lunch or dinner I will be filling a dish with the dole whip soft serve!

I saw this, and knew it was you, Hatter. You and your magic cookie bars. I guess I should be happy that you can't ship warm beignets to your humble Scottish castle.
POFQ Cajun burger. Who would have thought hamburger and shrimp go together? The special burger at POR was pretty good, too. But the POFQ one...YUM!!

Zebra Domes are so GOOD!!! I get them as my dessert at Mara EVERYTIME we eat there. Yes you can get them in the frigerated section in Mara! Highly recommend them! Cant wait to have them again in May!

Can you still get the Oreo bon bons at the Beach Club? I thought I read they took them away from Cape May Cafe. If not, those are my favorite WDW dessert.
