I will be staying at the Art of Animation in May 2016 with 5 other adults, what do any of you think about this resort? Thanks.

I can't answer your question because I've never stayed there, but I feel bad no one has replied to you yet.
You can do a search in the upper right hand corner with the name of the hotel and hopefully some threads that are helpful will pop up.
It is similar to other value resorts in the fact that they all have the larger than life decor outside the hotels.
I think AoA is a good choice because it's new and so far from what I've seen online and what I've heard it looks very nice.
I'll be at Pop in November and can't wait to cross the bridge to see AoA.

Have you got any specific questions about the resort?
I would say it is the best of the value resorts. The pool areas are nice, the food court is the best of the value hotels (real silverware!!!), and the place is well positioned centrally to get to the parks.
