The easier a resort’s access to a park (by walking, monorail or skyliner) the less likely they will be to let you in without an ADR. They will scan your band.

Yes but you may be asked to provide an ADR confirmation. Some resorts are more strict than others about letting people on property to park. Arriving by Disney transportation wouldn't be a problem

If you're doing a monorail resort or dependent on time of year - a Boardwalk resort - then you're best bet is to have an ADR. For the others you should be okay.

So if we are doing some monorail resort exploring, and have a drink or a quick bite to eat(no ADR), would the best bet be to park at Disney Springs and take a WDW bus(or an Uber) to resort?

Disclaimer…I am not looking to go into parks without paying for parking. Just 3-4 hours on any given night to check out a resort.

Are you going to be staying on or off property?

Yes. Townhouse for several weeks in Kissimmee.
Then your plan would work or you could Uber to your first resort so you don't have to worry about having a designated driver. If you decide to park at DS make sure to know what time the last bus back to DS is so you don't get stuck having to Uber or taxi back
