Or you could take a bus to the Boardwalk or one of the other resorts near there and walk to Epcot.

ETA: I must have been tired when I read this last night lol... that should have been reversed ;) walk to bw and then take a bus to DTD.

There are no direct "Park to DTD" busses at ALL. Principal reason: Make DTD hard to get to/from due to people seeking free parking. This is a fundamental problem that WDW still needs to address.

(edit) worth noting: the transportation policy just FAILS, as "free parkers" just crap up the system at "close" resorts... Saratoga Springs is pretty infamous for this.
The easiest response would be to charge for parking at DTD but validate it at all shops and restaurants for 2 or 3 hours.

Is there a bus from Epcot directly to DTD? Or would it be better to go out the IG and grab the bus from BW/YC/BC?

I'm a big fan of the Disney bus system and use it as often as possible. However there are a few cases when it really falls apart, and this is one of them.

DTD is really close to Epcot and it shouldn't take an hour to travel between them (especially if you figure out how much $$$ every hour of your vacation is worth) If you're exiting through Future World, there are taxis waiting in the center of the first bus loop.

When we stay at the Caribbean Beach and have dinner reservations at Italy or France, it always makes me laugh because have to rush to leave our room 1 1/2 hours early to catch a bus to a place you can literally see through the trees. Much more relaxing to take a taxi to the Boardwalk and enjoy a nice walk before dinner.

Since there are no buses from parks to DTD, I think your fasted option is to go to the Beach Club via the international gateway and take a bus from there :)

OK everyone, thanks! This is exactly what I thought. BW or BC bus to DTD!!!

Just be aware that it can sometimes take a long time to do that. So if you need to be at DTD by a specific time (for a reservation or show time) be sure to allow plenty of time to get there. Last June it took us over an hour to get from Yacht Club to DTD one evening. We waited over 25 minutes for a bus to show up and then we had to stop at all of the Epcot resorts to pick up those passengers, and then the traffic.... Next time we'll take a cab.
