okay, so my best friend and I are staying 5 nights and 6 days in February 2013. We wanted to book before january 1st, 2013 but with Christmas and everything else, we wont have the money until January 4th. We have annual passes (& are FL residents) and WDW's website says you can redeem the 35% savings BEFORE January 4th.

Do you think they will have the same savings if we book after the 1st? It is just a really good deal and we don't want to miss out. But, our budget doesn't allow us to do it until next week.

we are also running in the disney princess 1/2 so if anyone can tell me how good the discount for that is, that would be great too thanks!

That would indicate the day the savings expire. Just like a coupon in the paper, they are only good for so long. If you cannot take advantage of it before it expires, you are unfortunately out of luck. However, if you are just booking a room only reservation, you only need to pay for 1 night on the phone.

Your dates refer to both the 4th and the 1st, not sure which you are talking about. But the current AP and GP room only deals expire at the end of the year. There will most likely be a new discount based on the Visa one they just released, however it will most likely be less than the current one. You can see below that the Visa 35% expires on 12/31, and the new one is only 30%. Odds are the GP one will be similar.

So waiting, you may still have a discount available, however it may not be as good. Also, there are only a set number of rooms available under any given promotion, so the current one may already be sold out. Since the Princess 1/2 lists most of the on property resorts as host resorts, you should still be able to get something. However, take note that the discounts say "most nights" so they may exclude the nights surrounding the Princess.

Hey! Thanks for the helpful information! I didn't think about just doing a payment/ deposit for one night to hold the reservation. We do have annual passes it will be a room reservation only.
