reserving a room at the AKL

I'm quite certain there must be a thread about this somewhere, but I'm having a difficult time finding it, so please forgive me if this is at all repetitive... My friends and I are looking to book a room for a few nights at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for Summer of 2010... We'd like to reserve a room in a specific savannah section... Anyone know how far in advance we should make our reservation? Is it even possible to reserve a room in a particular section at all, let alone this far in advance? Thanks!!!

You can book 499 days in advance.

You are not guaranteed to be in any section or trail, just that you will face a savanna. You can request which trail and section you want, but they are requests, not guaranteed. Don't let anyone else promise you anything else.

And to be honest, I dont think there is a "bad" Savannah section. So dont worry about it too much
