Reservations on Disney.com

I was trying to get a price for a trip we were planning for February of 2004 but Disney.com only will book trips till the end of this year:veryconfu Does anyone have any idea why? 2004 is only about 8 1/2 months away and when you plan for a trip it takes some time.

I don't know why they do that but it could be because they haven't released the 2004 rates yet? But, I would suggest calling them instead of using the website. I've tried the website several times and never got a good rate. They always quoted me just the rack rates. (Even after telling them that I was AP holder and MKC member) If you call the number and talk with a live person, you can usually get better discounts.

I remember back in the day, when poeple used to book thier disney trips years in advance.. but i think now, since park attendence is lower than usual (for the past couple years) lots of people just book last minute.. So I suggest you plan it all, but dont book until the new codes come out (about 3 months before you actually go) that way you will save tons of money and stay in a great hotel for much less money :)

Not exactly true...

Over the next year or so, Disney will be phasing out their Central Reservations offices. Meaning that all bookings whether they are a package or not will be booked through the Walt Disney Travel Company. CRO's cancellation policy is 5 days before you check in. But...you can only book through CRO if you want a ROOM ONLY. If you want a package you have to book through the WDTC. By next year all bookings will be handled by WDTC meaning that the cancellation policy for everything will be 45 days out.

If you want to make a reservation for next year, I can book it for you. I have already booked someone for Feb. Unfortunely online, they do place a limit as to how far in advance you can book.
