It isn't necessary...the two times I've been I've only had to wait about 15 minutes at the most to be seated. I do believe that they do take reservations...but am not sure. If no one here is able to post it...you can find the Guest Relations telephone number on the universalstudios.com website - look under the link for Theme Parks - Orlando
Mythos is a great choice for lunch. I hope you enjoy.
Originally posted by Grumpy56 Thanks, Joe I'm sure we will. It sounds like great fun. It will be our first visit to IOA. Any other things you'd recommend?
Maybe not particularly a recommendation, but an FYI about riding Bluto's Bilge Rats and Ripsaw Falls...the water will be quite cold in February. So, unless you don't mind feeling like you'd been pulled out of the North Atlantic Ocean, I'd think twice about riding these two.
My best recommendation would be to take your time in the park. There are lots of nice details to see: the entirety of Suess Landing is a visual treat with the colors and architecture, Lost Continent always leaves me feeling that I had been dropped into another time and place, Jurassic has a nice lush jungle feel to it...
For another dining recommendation, try Confisco Grille. Another sit down/table service restaurant located in Port of Entry as you are nearing the central lake and about to turn right towards Suess Landing.
Thanks Joe, I'm looking forward to it. Good advice about the water rides, I think I will probably skip Splash Mt too! We've been to WDW so many times it will be nice to add a little something brand new to the trip. Plus my kids are old enough now to do all the thrill rides so it will be fun for them.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
You are quite welcome. I hope that you and your family enjoy your stay down there... It was my pleasure to be able to offer someone my opinions about IoA, especially Mythos.
