Reservation Confirmation

My trip is coming up a month from today and I was just wondering if I was going to receive something in the mail...some kind of reservation confirmation thing or whatever. I have in the past, but I thought they sent it to me way longer ago than a month before the trip.:animwink:

Unfortunately they don't always make it. If you have a reservation number you're A ok. You can call your resort 10 before you arrive but not before that because they can't see your res at that time. Call them and make sure the res is there! They'll be glad to help!

Just call up the reservations desk and inquire about the reservation paperwork. I had to call them today cause the website wasn't showing that my just made payment was accepted. It was stuck on the please wait window. I called and it was confirmed that my trip is paid in full now and that I will now get the paperwork package shortly.

So you can check out on www.disney.com under your itinerary and check things out.

After spending 11 days in WDW and booking FAAAR in advance we didn't receive our confirmatin until 5 days AFTER we returned :)
No problems though just have your number with you!

I have had a lack of reservation confirmations by mail this year as well. But the funny thing is, whenever I update a reservation I always get paperwork within a week.

I usually call 2 days before we leave jut to make sure. Confirm your reservation and any special request that you put in. Keep that magic number handy just in case your paperwork doesn't arrive in time.

I never received a confirmation for our trip in December either. I can view my reservation on the WDW website and everything looks fine.

I'm just a little concerned that when I added ME to my reservation, she asked for our flight arrival date and then asked if we were staying somewhere else for the first night then she had to put me on hold for awhile before the addition of ME was complete. And before she told me to have a magical day she asked when our last trip to WDW was. I plan to have a copy of my reservation from the website with me just in case we have a problem.

Yeah, I think that's what I'm going to do too...print the page on the website.

When you book a Room-Only Disney Resort Reservation by Phone...

When a phone booked resevation is first made or later modified in any way, a confirmation is generated and mailed within 24 hours.

When you book a Room-Only Disney Resort Reservation by Internet...

Your confirmation is e-mailed to you when the reservation is originally booked. No confirmation is ever mailed, even when changes are made by phone.

When you book a Room-Only Reservation at a non-Disney Resort (Swan, Dolphin, Downtown Disney Official Hotels) thru Disney (phone or Internet)...

No confirmation is sent by Disney. The guest must call the non-Disney Hotel directly for a confirmation at least 48 hours after the reservation is made.

When you book a Walt Disney Travel Company Vacation Package (phone or internet; Disney or non-Disney Hotel) ...

A confirmation is generated and mailed within 24 hours.

Please note: As part of their homeland security efforts, US Mail can refuse delivery of mail to an address if the name on the mail is not an actual resident of that address. Disney has received a great deal of documents returned as undeliverable because the Guest listed on the travel plan does not actually reside at the household address.

If you are traveling with other families who live at different addresses, PLEASE book one room per family under each family's personal address. We then can link the reservations as a "travel with" so the Resort knows to assign the rooms together when possible.

If you are part of a Grand Gathering, a duplicate confirmation for each family can be sent to the Lead Planner's address on request. You must make this request each time you want copies of the current confirmation for the other families. This service is ONLY availiable for parties of 8 or more guest (age 3+) traveling as part of a Grand Gathering Reservation.

Adding the ME was the second change I have made to my room only reservation by phone. We'll see if a I receive anything this time. This is the only time in all the years we have visited WDW that we haven't received our confirmation.
