Hi everyone:

My classmates and I are graduate students in the MBA program at Long Beach State. As part of a research project on consumer behavior we have put together a brief survey about people who purchase annual passports to the Disneyland Resort. We’re trying to gather some information on general trends as to what kind of consumer chooses to purchase an annual passport instead of individual tickets.

We’d greatly appreciate it if you could take five minutes to participate in the survey. As a show of gratitude, we’ll pick one participant at random to win a $25 Disney gift card. None of your personal information will ever be used for any type of marketing purposes and we’ve asked for an email address simply to contact the winner.

If you have any insight as to what led to your purchase of an annual passport (or any reason why you wouldn’t) and would like to share, we’d love to hear that here too!

Thanks so much for your help!

Done.

WARNING: GRUMPY OLD MAN ALERT! And as an old fuddy-duddy, I have to say that millions of over-educated young folks all trying to get an MBA in this country is a bit troubling. You can't teach life skills and intuition in class. I sincerely hope you have the chance to finally get off campus one day and get out there, get your hands dirty, work 80 hours a week and fail at something, then fail again another half dozen times, work hard in the trenches and really learn your trade from the ground up. And then finally succeed at something with all the skill you learned on the front lines and out in the real world.

Spending ten years in an air-conditioned classroom is nice, but it ain't the real world. Put the iPad down and get out there and work and fail and succeed at something if you really want to learn about "consumer behavior". Good luck kids! :)
