We are considering renting a house for our disney trip in Nov. Does anyone know how far it would be to Disney from Davenport or Clermont, Fl.? We don't want to waste a lot of time with driving back and forth to the parks, especially if we plan to take an afternoon break from the parks and return in the evening. If I can talk my husband into staying onsite, this won't be a question any longer:animwink:. Thanks to anyone who can reply!!

If you can choose... go to davenport... approx.20 mins.
A great Community ie. is Tuscan Ridge along the US27

Anyway, there are lots of nice communities along the US27
Clermont is IMO too far...

You can stay right off of 192 where Splendid China was. I believe its called Indian Creek where we stay. It takes us like 5 min to get to Disney. There are a lot of subdivisions that way so you might want to try there.

Celebration is close but you can't rent for a short term there.The communites off the 192 are all between 7-10 mins and on the 27 south about 10 + .Don't be misled by any home saying it is in davenport -the town itself is miles away from Disney .My home is 12 mins away on the 27 and the postal address is Davenport so not that far away As for timing I have heard reports of people waiting 15-20 mins for disney transportation so a 15 min drive is no real problem The space ,value and freedom you get in a home is unbeatable and if you rent direct from an owner rather than a company you will also get a service second to none.If you need any help get in touch I have been renting my home out for 5 years
