Remember that 25th anniversary them song you just couldn't get away from... I was 6 years old and I hated it then and just as you got away from it the finale in Fantasy in the Sky comes up, they announce the grand finale then say say remember than that song starts all over again. I still remember hearing people either sighing or laughing everytimr that song poped up. Once the parade repeatedly played that song straight thru the entire parade with no unit music to break it was really painful to listen to it again afterwards. Not only that it was just in arising as a kid to be in the park while that music was playing. I still remember hearing Remember the Magic at the beginning of illuminations and thing HERE TO ?!?!?!?!?!?! If you know the song just skip to the fireworks.

I don't remember "Remember the Magic" or the parade that went along with it. And I was an adult at the time, and a passholder and frequent visitor. One of my friends said I have a good memory, but maybe I don't!

Disneyland scored two original songs for the Diamond Celebration: A generic but decent pop ballad "Live the Magic," and a marvelous, touching song called "A Kiss Goodnight" by Richard Sherman.

On the WDW subject, I was never a huge fan of the Share a Dream Come True anthem, but I love the "Fantasy" variant sung by Kellie Coffey. More of a sweeping, beautiful melody. Whatever happened to Gavin Greenaway? He did some great work for Disney in the early 2000s.

Boy, you don't remember that 50th anniversary song for that West Coast park now do you?

I'm just curious-when did they play this? DS was a musician there during the 50th and he doesn't remember it. However, he did usually finish by 8:00 so if it was during fireworks, he missed it . What was a real tearjerker, though, was during the parade when the music would stop and Walt's voice would come on the loudspeaker "To all who come to this happy place, welcome. Disneyland is your land

Not sure specifically when they had played it in the parks..But, it was more of a promo-esque song for DL's 50th but, also for the Disneyparks when HCOE was being celebrated Parkwide...A good example was the Float they had During the 2005 Macy's Parade...While it was for DL's 50th you can see the Float was for WDW...
