WIth the announcement of the new expansion of Animal Kingdom to include a) the Avatar park and b) the extension of the hours to include night time attractions (mostly specific to Avatar and the lighting effects) - My guess (with no confirmation) is that it will be incorporated there and was tested to draw attention and gauge response.

I am excited.

We just returned on Monday from the park and that seems to be the underlying speculation.

Of course now we have talking Mickey so it never ceases to amaze me what Disney can do!

Universal has an upcoming full time position for a dragon. I assume this guy went to fill that spot.

I've suggested that it would be good to have a nightly scheduled "appearance" of a flying banshee over DAK as part of the Pandora expansion. Would be one of those neat "little things" that enhance the park experience.

I thought the dragon was some how related to the on-line backstory they concocted for "New" Fantasyland, that these new attractions "had always been there but you couldn't see them because the Disney villains had cursed them". I agree. Dragons and Banshees will be right at home in Pandora. The nighttime entertainment will be plussed with a flyby during whatever grand finale is in the works.
