Remember fireworks or World of color

February 8th!

Ok! Hhhmmm... If you see one or the other first, you'll have about 15 minutes to go across to see the other. I hope that makes sense, LOL. Basically if you see World of Color, you'll have about 15 minutes to cross over to Disneyland to see Remember. Same goes if you decide to see Remember first. Since you're a WDW vet, I'd recommend you see World of Color first. I say that because the first five minutes of Remember is almost exactly Wishes! at Magic Kingdom. Some of the words are changed but other than that, it's Wishes!. It changes after that. Although I wouldn't want you to miss any of Remember (IMO, the best firework show to come out of Disneyland), you can afford to miss the first five minutes. Just in case you don't know, Remember is Disneyland's 50th anniversary firework show and it pays homeage to Walt Disney and his park throughout the decades. Its even got Disneyland's opening speech from Walt Disney in the show.

I also suggest you see World of Color first because you can watch Remember from Main Street, basically the entrance to Disneyland. If you see Remember first, then head to DCA to see World of Color, you'd have to walk to Paradise Pier, which will take up a little bit of time. Better to just walk (or run, I should say) from California Adventure to Disneyland's Main Street. A tip for Remember, try to get a spot by either the castle or close to it. Sleeping Beauty Castle is heavily used in the show and and there are fireworks that go off all around you.

Ok- I figured it would be a mad dash from one to the other but seeing World of Color first makes sense to me. I WILL make my husband run with me though to see the Remember fireworks! Thanks raven24! You are the best!

Your welcome! I hope you have lots of fun on your very short trip! Yes, please make him run. Run like the wind. If you enjoy the classic Disney parks attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, etc., you will LOVE this firework show. I want to tell you what happens during the show but I'll keep it a surprise! Let us know if you need any more tips or advice.

We went to Disneyland in September. We saw World of Color from the beginning to the end and loved it. We then filed out of the park like everyone else. When we exited DCA we saw the fireworks going off in Disneyland and missed the chance to see them up close. We just stayed in between both entrances and watched for the heck of it. Raven24 seems to think you can make it and you probably can. I guess we would have only missed the first 5 minutes as well.

Personally I recommend at Disneyland seeing both Fantasmic and fireworks one after the other if it is set up that way.

I definitely would if it were possible. Fantasmic isn't showing the day we are there! Thanks for the advice. I will definitely see those fireworks no matter where I have to stand!
