I figure I'd post this in WDW General Discussion because the Imagineer subforum doesn't get much views.
Here, I'll be sharing my ideas of transforming or "reimagining" Wishes- the MK fireworks show.
Wishes, to me, could be so much more better. For instance, after the first part the majority left is the Wishes song over and over. And why is Jiminy Cricket hosting? He's hardly the character you think of when you think Wishes. So my main idea is to expand on various Disney characters sharing their Wishes and making GENIE the host (Robin Williams).

YAAAAAAAAAAAAOOO- 10,000 years will give you such a crick in the neck!

Oh, hello people! It's me, Genie, and boy oh boy do I have a show planned for you tonight.
(In an seargent voice) Let's get down to business. WHAT ARE WISHES? (In a Blue Fairy voice) A wish is a powerful thing, especially when it comes from the heart. It can make all of your dreams come true!
*Wishes Instrumental*
(Tink flies down)
(In flight attendant voice) So, let's get started then shall we? Our first destination is in the African Savannah, oh how exciting! Fasten your seatbelts please- because here we go!
*Just Can't Wait to be King instrumental*
Simba-
I wish I was a king!
I'm gonna be a mighty king, so enemies beware!
I'm gonna be the mane event
Like no king was before
I'm brushing up on looking down
I'm working on my roar

(In flight attendant voice) Isn't he just darling?!
(In Luis Armstrong Voice) How bout I catcha down in New Orleans?

If I were a human being, I'd head straight to New Orleans!
And I'd blow this horn so loud and strong like no one they've ever seen.

that song thats gator playin', Listen!

Oh Luis, I hope your wish comes true! My wish is to open up my own restaurant!
I'm almost there.
People down here think I'm crazy,
But I don't care!
Trials and tribulations,
Ive had my share.
But there aint nothing gunna stop me now,
Cuz I'm almost there!
I remember daddy told me
fairy tales can come true,
But you gotta make them happen,
It all depends on you!
So I worked real hard each and everyday,
Now things for sure are going my way.
Just doing what I do,
Look out boys I'm coming through!

You go girl! Some wishes take courage and persistance to be fully realized.

I wish I bring honor to my family.

AHH! What is she saying!? Down here is your home! Ariel, listen to me. The human world is a mess. Life under the sea is better than anything they have up there!
The seaweed is always greener
In somebody else's lake
You dream about going up there
But that is a big mistake
Just look at the world around you
Right here on the ocean floor
Such wonderful things surround you

What a crab! A wish may be a stepping stone to finding love- like Ariel's and my buddy Al's.
Aladdin- Genie, I wish I was a prince!

Genie- Sometimes wishes can fall into the wrong hands
Jafar- Genie, grant me my wish! I wish to be an all powerful genie!
Genie-
(reluctant) I have no choice...
Jafar-
Yes! Yes! (his famous cackle) I'm ruler of the entire universe!
*Hellfire instrumental*
Aladdin- Not so fast Jafar!
You wanted to be a genie, you got it! And everything that goes with it!
Jafar- What?! No! No! Noooooooo.....
Aladdin- Phenomenal cosmic powers! Itty bitty living space.
Genie- Al you did it! Well folks, this almost wraps up the show. What kind of genie am I not to highlight the woman who rules this here kingdom- Cinderella!
Cinderella- Oh genie- you've been such a wonderful host. Thank you!
My wish came true not so long ago- with some help of course.
