Hi guys,

I got one question.... I hear everyone talking abou this new ride that is coming to Animal Kingdom based on the movie Reign of Fire. The movie Reign of Fire is not a Disney movie so why would Disney take time and built a ride that is not one of thier movies or has anything to do with Disney.
I know there is Star Tours, but Lucas has a huge contract with Disney. But I never heard of a contract witht he company that is making Reign of Fire.
Plese answer my question.

Thanks

And dont say the ride IS coming to AK. Some skeptics hope that disney will figure out that the theme wont fit into the area and that the theme will be changed. (I'm one of those skeptics)

Yes, I agree. It doesnt seem like a Disney theme at all! I don't understand why they dont just go back to Villain Mountain, or that Atlantis themed volcano for adventureland. This movie doesn't seem like a Disney movie regardless of who owns what. I'm surprised something so unconventionally disney is even being considered for an attraction--let alone a major attraction!

If I may, it's TouchSTONE, not Touchtone... that's a type of phone.

And the company making it is Spyglass. They're making it FOR Touchstone, which signed off on it, shares some of the cost, and gets some of the profit. They also get to exploit it for theme parks and merchandise.

Spyglass will be making a lot of pictures for Disney/Touchstone over the next few years.

Just to let you know, a lot of people here: can't spell real well and aren't the most grammatically correct.

But they're still awfully wonderful people, of this I'm certain!

Whoa, it's probably a typo. I think we should all give the person the benefit of the doubt. It's silly to get annoyed, or simply even mention it. An error like that is easy to skim over when you proof read.

Whoa! Wasn't annoyed... it's tough to sense a tone on internet postings, but I did preface my remark with a gentle "if I may".

It's not at all silly to mention something that someone would probably like to get right later on anyway... and it was misspelled by two different folks in two different posts.

It's a major company, and our culture is too throwaway these days... Good spelling and good grammar make for easier reading, and more enjoyable participation in these forums.

In any case, no offense intended.
