Rehiring CP

I have a question about getting accepted in the CP after self termination in a CP prior. I was part of the Fall Advantage 2002 CP, about three weeks before the end of program I found it necessary to go home early for personal reasons. From my understanding, this gets me a no rehire status with the company. My question is if I apply for another CP, will I have trouble being accepted? Before I left Disney, I had zero reprimands. I also have been with the same employer for going on three years now. I am going to graduate this December, and I am considering moving to FL to work, and I think the CP is a great way to transition to the Sunny State. If anyone has experience with "no rehire" I would appreciate the input. Thanks! :animwink:

This website is loaded with great info on wdw, and a great, great place to learn info about the Walt Disney World College Program...I learned probably 90% of the information regarding the cp prior to me leaving last year for Florida. This is a great place to get information!!

For petes sakes, I know of a guy who just got rehired after being termed last year for stealing merchandise on property!! If you dont get rehired I would be amazed.

Also, like you, I too have a friend who left his program early last year to attend to 'personal reasons' at home. He was rehired with no problem and is currently a cast member in FL doing a CP.


Trust me, start packing your bags for Fl, you will get in!!!!

You may have had a 'no rehire' status though being termed in 02, because after 9/11, MANY people were given no rehire because of the non-need for high amounts of Cast Members. Now, you may still be marked as 'no-rehire' in SAP, but they can talk to you about what you did and why and sort things out.
