(NY Post) -- Regis Philbin has a message for King World's new morning show: Bring it on! "Joy, every year there's another show that comes up, 'We're gonna knock off 'Live' - OK, let's go!" a feisty Philbin said to wife Joy Philbin on yesterday's host-chat segment of "Live with Regis & Kelly." The Philbins were talking about King World creating a new show called "Living It Up! With Ali and Jack" to compete with "Live" in fall 2003. King World is developing "Living It Up!" to be a conversational chat show that will air in NYC on Ch. 2 -- most likely at 9 a.m., smack-up against "Live" on Ch. 7. "Living It Up!" will be hosted by Alexandra Wentworth -- the actress-wife of ABC News star George Stephanopolous -- and ex-ABC newsman Jack Ford. But it remains to be seen if there's any show that can derail "Live," which continues to go great-guns in the ratings department with Philbin and co-host Kelly Ripa (who was off yesterday visiting her husband, Mark Consuelos, in Australia).
