Cohesive with their respective areas? The new hotels? Funnyhow about just Wilderness Junction like the area was originally going to be, so its cohesive with the lodge and campground.
Not officiallySo they acknowledge they are building a resort in this area?
Where I lived growing up, Lakeside was an alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility.
Where did you see that description? To me, the recent survey images suggest a return to the past. There is an interesting choice of words in the first sentence of the resort description, which reads as follows:
The setting of the resort, draped by lush cypress trees is unlike any other.
In the mid-1980s, one of the three new resort hotels announced for Walt Disney World was Disney's Cypress Point Lodge, which was to be built on ground near Fort Wilderness. I think the use of cypress in the description is an intentional Easter Egg.
Guest surveys recently went out asking about potential names for this development. The one I've seen proposes "Reflections: A Disney Lakeside Resort."
That one site.Where did you see that description?

I took the survey. I made sure they knew how much I detested that name. Reflections? Someone should be fired.
Reflections: LakesideDid you get the Discovery or Lakeside name? Or something else?
Yep… It's only a dream, I wish I could afford it.Title needs more "Dreams" or "Wishes" in it.
