Recommendations for Flight Seat Selection and Magical Express

I'm 7'. I have to have a bulk head or emergency exit row seat in order to have blood flow in my legs. Because of this, I usually have to arrive very early at the airport to change my seat. My party will be using the Magical Express for the first time on our trip in June.

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with changing seats at the kiosk at the resort, or if the Magical Express would run me to the airport ahead of time and bring me back? Ultimately, I we could schedule it early for the entire group, or use a taxi. I'm just seeing what my options are.

In the past we took an earlier DME that the time that was on our documents with no problem. We were meeting family at MCO that didn't stay at WDW the entire time. Not sure if it helps, I quess the thing to do is call Disney an/or Mears and see if it's possible.

Why not get your seat assignment when you buy your flight tickets? I am not sure which airline you use. Most have assigned seats. SW has a boarding procedure. If you need to be one of the first to board on Southwest, you may need to purchase a Business Select ticket.

Just as a heads up -- DME, when departing TO the airport, leaves 3 hours before your flight and you arrive at the airport TWO HOURS before your flight...if you are flying internationally, it is 4 hours before your flight, arriving at the airport THREE HOURS before you flight....you should have more than enough time.

Some airlines now sell the bulkhead seats - I mean, they charge extra for them. You can't just request them the day you fly and get them because someone else may have already purchased the privilege.

You may end up having to buy a 1st Class seat, if those are available.

Just a heads-up here. You may wish to look into this before you leave.
