Recent Trip June 20th - 30th 2013

First off, I want to thank every cast member at WDW. I had such an exciting and thrilling trip. Hats off to everyone for making this possible. Did this trip a little different than previous trips. I decided to use the bus system instead of paying for a rental car when all it does is sit in the parking lot all day. I wasn't sure this was a good idea, but it turned out great. No complications, or anything. It worked out perfect, and I saved $500.00. We stayed at the Pop Century as usual, and I was looking great. Nice room, and updated TV and fridge which wasn't there last year. Here is some thing I noticed at each of the parks that stood out to me
MK: Looks fantastic! I read a lot of complaints on here about how unkept the park looks. But I couldn't rally find anything that stood out. The place was gorgeous. The new Fantasyland was fantastic. We loved all of the new offerings. Our favorite was of course the Beast's restaurant. The food was great as was the atmosphere, Gaston's Tavern was also really nice. We even got to hang out with Gaston himself. Cant wait to see the completed mine ride. POTC had a new mermaid effect inside. Nice little touches. We did notice all the new Fast Pass + entrances which were not in use when we were there. The Tangled restrooms were also great. A nice addition to the older Peter Pan ones. We even noticed that all the places we chose to eat at had new menu items. Peco's Bills changed items for dinner and looked really good. Crystal Palace also had all new menu items.

Epcot: The new Test Track 2.0 was ok. Neither of us was impressed. Basically the older ride was much more interesting. Ellen was showing its age. The giant snake attacking Ellen was broken, and just stagnant. The new Starbucks was all covered over. World Showcase was beautiful as always.

DHS: This is my least favorite park of all. But, for some reason I had the best time there this trip, and even had to go back for a second day! I had a blast there this trip. Nothing really different this time around, but just really enjoyed this park.

AK: Biggest change I can report back here was on Dinosaur. There was a new affect in the time tunnels. Looked like a laser and mist cloud. It looked like you were really going through time. A really nice addition to enhance the experience.

Special shout outs to a few special cast members that made lasting impressions;

It is right after you go through the smoke waterfall. you see bubbles on each side of the boat. You will lso hear mermaids singing, and a few mermaid skeletons on the beach.
