I have... it really wasn't my fault though. I started coughing like crazy in the middle of my monologue and I just couldn't finish it.

So, are you getting another shot at it?

nope.. and I actually don't care either way... I still have my WDW job, and I have another job interview tomorrow... so if I don't get it, I won't be too sad

That is still terrible, and represents a very ________ poor attitude on Universal's part considering that you could not really help what happened.

But as you said, you still have jobs to fall back on. A lot of other people auditioning probably don't have that opportunity.

Good luck tomorrow!

Not really. It's the nature of the business - that's how auditions work. If you screw one up, you just have to wait till next time.

I think the casting director realizes how nervous some people were being that for the first time, their jobs were really on the line. Because I assure you, he wasn't the only one to screw up over the course of those five days. That isn't to say that some people WON'T lose their contracts or their rankings, but internal actors are certainly given much more leeway with their auditions than regular internal employees or externals.

That's very true, but there is still a difference between someone off the street and a well trained entertainer (a professional at his work, no less) who has proved his worth again and again.
