Argh!! I've been patiently counting down the days for our first trip to Disneyland - excited for some sun, warmth, swimming, water rides... But the weather looks like poop.:( California is in a terrible drought, and yet 2 of our 3 days in the parks they're saying it's supposed to rain and only be in the 60s :cry: So much for a nice warm getaway from Nebraska!

Looks like it's going to be beautiful with the possible exception of Thursday and Friday. Even when rain is in the forecast like this in CA, you never can tell if it'll actually happen. Trust me, I go to the park whenever there's a chance of rain and it rarely happens. You'll get some drizzle! Now, Friday might be more of a crapshoot, but I'd say don't worry about Thursday. It'll be cloudy and most likely a lot of people won't turn up, so low crowds!

I'm worried myself about the rain this weekend; I have a fantasmic dinner reservation for Friday (if it makes you feel better, I've checked the weather report thrice today and it has gone from a solid chance of rain on friday night, to decent chances on friday/saturday, to now it says medium chances thursday/friday. Hopefully it spreads itself thin and maybe we'll get on a few drops here and there early.

Sorry you're disappointed with the weather though..
I'm northern-born coming from further south so I am actually looking forward to some relief from the 80s I've had to endure for the past few months :).

Speaking of the Fantasmic Dinner Package, I've read conflicting reports online, but maybe some of the experts here know: If the show gets rained out on Friday, is it possible to get a pass for Saturday's performance?

It would be easier to just change your reservation to Saturday if the forecast remains as it is. You typically have until 24 hours out to make changes.

Because rain is such a rarity out here, locals completely avoid the parks on rainy days here because there are so many other perfectly sunny ones to go on. (Hope I don't jinx this) but likely it will barely rain and the forecast will be enough to scare all the locals away and you will have both parks to yourself with just a little drizzle to deal with! Enjoy!!!
