I was speaking to a friend about an annual pass and said “AP” instead of “annual pass”. I found out that she didn’t speak forum language. Since joining this Forum, I have grown accustomed to saying “dack” (DAK) instead of “Animal Kingdom”. I also say DVC instead of Vacation Club. There are several more examples of how my verbal communication skills have deteriorated since joining the Forum because of the abbreviations that we use.
Does anyone else use form-speak in their non-computer communication when talking about Disney World (or, you know, WDW)? Just curious.
