I've been working on a replica of EPCOT lately. It still has Horizons, as Disney should still have it. I just gotta finish the lagoon, World Showcase and a little horticulture, but it shouldn't take too long. I'll try to get some screens up. Big problem I'm having is Spaceship Earth. Can't really make the sphere in RCT. :(

I used the 3D Theather it just looks kind of weak being so small. But I think it's the best you can. At least the monorail going around it looks sweet

I posted this in another place, but no one responed and it seems that this thread is more popular. Does anyone know how to add their own MP3 in to RCT over the music in the game. If you do please tell me, I really want to know.

in the file of place where the game is installed under data you will will find this. i just copyed and pasted what it says

Custom ride music
-----------------
Additional ride music may be added as follows:
1. Convert the new music file into a .WAV file, PCM format, 22,050Hz,
8bit, Stereo.
2. Move the file into the 'Data' subfolder in the RollerCoaster Tycoon
installed folder, and rename it to either CUSTOM1.WAV or CUSTOM2.WAV
3. Run the game as normal. The additional music file should be recognized
by the game, and will appear in music selection menus as "Custom Music 1"
or "Custom Music 2".

Note
----
This feature is unsupported by Hasbro Interactive.
It should work, but if you experience problems then you're on your own!

Check out the last page of the "Aussi Disneyland" thread...I posted a very lengthy guide to custom music, with links for more info. You should try it...it really adds to the game!

BTW, if anyone has a suggestion for a good place to upload mammoth wav files, I've already converted several Disney theme park tunes to the proper format. Too bad RCT uses wav instead of mp3...they're all 5-10 MB files.

I made an Epcot replica, which became more of a parody. My solution to Spaceship Earth was building a big scary cube, and calling it "Spaceship Borg." It has a ghost house-coaster inside, with little blue buggies. The little theater just doesn't do justice to SSE.

You need to unzip it! A program like pkunzip (free shareware, do a search for it) will expand the file and make it a .wav (or whatever music format it is.)
The next question is probably how to turn an mp3 or real audio file into a .wav file. Personally, I use "Cool Edit 2000" which is a great audio editing program. It costs about $60 though. I think Winamp will also convert. Otherwise, search the web for "mp3 to wav" converters. You may find a freebie.

I'm going to try again to upload my custom music files to a newsgroup. There is an RCT group...but they delete the files after a few days. They're very large files, and all web browsers won't download them. I'll post a note here when and if I can get them on the newsgroup.
