Ok, I don't get a lot of time to play, so here's what i can tell you so far. Anyone else is obviously free to chime in and add on.
First off, RCT got a decent Autostart that reminds you of the original main page, with the three buttons (install, documentation, exit). AND, they got a REAL installer. Unfortunantly, it plays the nasty park music through the whole thing, and you can't turn it off :F
Once you install it, the "Disclaimer" thingy is a different color, more green, the "clickity-clack" of the chainlift is different, MicroProse's logo was replaced with Infogrames, and obviously there is a RCT2 graphic at the end.
Now you're at the main screen.
You have an extra button here, the toolbox, which is great if you just wanna experiment with stuff. I haven't checked it all out yet.
If you choose to start a new game, there is a new format (and this is a different program, so all of the other scenarios are not able to be played, just run the original RCT to check 'em out), They kindly organize them into easy, med, hard, real, custom, etc... The Six Flags parks are really neat. Almost all down to scale. When you begin a game, the interface has changed a bit. Less of that grey menu bar. To find how many people are in a line, hold your cursor over the qeue sign, and over the entrance area to find out how many are on the ride. The ride menus are expanded, and you can use your wheel on your mouse if you like. Big improvement. Lots more pre-fabbed rides, and the Six Flags ones have their logo popped up on the side. Ride previews are shown in the same place as if you wanted to choose the ride to build. They also put a path from the entrance to the exit, so all you have to do is place it.
The "Tram" you've seen is just a mini-train that goes around the park. no parking lots or anything
There is a "Haunted Mansion" attraction instead of "ghost house" or whatever it was before too. The monorails look more like the Mark IV's (or whatever they are now).
G2G....i'll bring some pics later.
