Rather odd question...

My roommate keeps saying how alot of people she knows believe Disney won't exist in a few years. As a Disney fan myself, I argue with her everytime she brings it up.

I was just wondering what everyone else's take on "Disney not existing in a few years"???

All joking aside though, I suppose the WDC will be around if (like any other company) they make wise business decisions, with people at the helm that have vision, and the smarts to have the company be successful in the present aswell as a plan in place to ensure success in the future...I also think, the Disney Company should not get bigger, but smaller (because a smaller company is better to run, and the losses aren't as high when things go sour)...just my opinion though....the company has been around for a fairly long time...lets hope its around for much longer....

Fear not little one. Disney a media and entertainment giant and it would take alot to bring down the company. They are so diverse and have so many different things going on that even if one area suffered, other divisions could make up for the losses. Now, Disney could be taken over by another company (i.e. that Comcast thing), however, the Disney name is widely known, that no hostile company would dare get rid of it.

Thats exactly what I told my roomate...I was just wondering what everyone else's thoughts on her comment (which i thought was absurbed) on how disney wont exist in a few years.
