Hey all! Just got back from WDW where I got engaged at Best friends breakfast. The staff and characters there were incredible. Anyhoo, in the week we were down there I tried to meet up with as many characters as I could. I tried to meet up with my favorite Villain Flintheart Glomgold but I couldn't find him and not many people knew who he was. Does anyone know if he even makes appearances or am I just wasting my time? Thanks!

I have never even heard of a costume for him. While they have a costume for nearly every character, or they had one at sometime. Considering I have no Idea who that is and I work closely with the characters Im gonna say that he is either only for special events or not in existence anymore.

What is he from any way?:veryconfu

In DuckTales, Flintheart is the second richest duck in the world. He is Uncle Scrooge's rival/nemesis. I love DuckTales and remember all those old characters--the Beagle Boys, Magica De Spell, etc.:)

The only DuckTales characters I've ever seen in the parks were Scrooge and Launchpad, though I hear Huey, Dewey, and Louie are sometimes at AK.

Yep, he's supposed to be the "Second Richest Duck in the World". I figured if they had a Scrooge, Darkwing, Launchpad and a few other Disney Afternoon characters they would have Flintheart too. Maybe not tho.....

I'd love to see all the ducks, especially Launchpad and Darkwing. I loved Darkwing Duck when I was little. Oh, and Gyro Gearloose!

I have the Ducktails movie on video. I should watch it. I actually saw it in the theatre too. My mom was so disappointed that they didn't do the Ducktails song until the end credits. My mom loves Ducktails more than most kids ever did, I think. She says that Huey, Dewey, and Louie remind her of my cousin Chris when he was a baby/toddler.

Well, being an avid Ducktale fan as a youth and all.. my response to his name was...

"Who..?"

So I think that explains why he wasn't to be found in the parks.

Really? I knew who he was right off the bat.

I'm still hoping to see Darkwing some day. At least I know he IS a character, but I've never caught him when I'm there.

I have a strong feeling that if people saw him walking around the parks, they would either respond: "Why is Scrooge wearing a beard and frowning" or "Who is that?". I have encountered people being confused over who Mr. Smee and characters from Robin Hood are. There are plenty of characters I would love to see, but obscure ones aren't going to be around because most of the non-hardcore Disney going public are going to have no idea who they are.

Heuy, Dewey and Louie are not at AK or anywhere in the US parks. They are in some of the Tokyo Disneyland parades.

That being said...while my family and I were getting our pictures taken with Scrooge McDuck at the Tree Lot, a few passing guests remarked, "Why is Donald wearing a hat and glasses?"

Imagine me smacking my head in disbelief.
